The New England Chapter of the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA) was chartered on October 9, 1990.  We are dedicated to improving cost estimating and analysis in government and industry and to enhancing the professionalism and accomplishments of our members.  Through our bi-monthly luncheons with guest speakers, summer and winter season socials, and professional development opportunities such as the annual Mini-PDI, our chapter fosters individual professional growth and social interaction between its members in order to strengthen the cost estimating community in the New England region.

     Most of our members, both government and industry, work at Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA; however, we have many members located throughout the New England region.  Our current membership numbers over 100 and we are one of the largest SCEA chapters nationwide.

     Our chapter board goals include the following:

·        Expand Chapter membership

·        Facilitate professional development through training events

·        Provide social functions for members

·        Schedule speakers on items of current interest

·        Stay engaged with National Office

·        Work closely with the American Society of Military Comptrollers ASMC

·        Explore better ways of serving chapter members through initiatives
